It means, full security is guaranteed unless you make any mistake. The bitter truth is the fact that even after putting the best security features in place, many Cash App users fall victim to Cash App scam. That’s why I thought it would be a great idea to write  about how to get money on Cash App if scammed. So, the thing is, if you have scammed or money has stolen from your account, then you have two options. Either you can dispute a fraudulent payment to Cash App or simply request the person who received money from your account. 

Frankly speaking, there is no point in sending a request to a person who stole money from your account because scammers don’t steal money to return. But, in case, if you have sent money to any wrong person then sending a request can really be helpful. I will let you know how to send a refund request on Cash App later in this post. • Open Cash App mobile application on your phone. 
• From the top right corner of the screen, select your profile icon. 
• Then scroll all the way down to the far bottom end of the screen. 
• At the end of the screen, you will find a Cash Support icon. Tap it to proceed. 
• Then, select something else as a reason to contact Cash App customer service. 
• Now here comes a screen where you need to describe your issue. Don’t forget to add the transaction id which you think is unauthorized payment. 
• Now you will have to wait up to 2-3 days to hear back from Cash App.

How to get a Cash App refund if sent to the wrong person? 

Don’t forget what I have told in the above section. Sending a refund request is not a guaranteed way to get a Cash App refund. But still in some cases, I have found some cashapp users who claimed to get refunds by sending requests. So, it is not a bad idea to send a request for a refund on the Cash App. These are steps to follow: 

• Launch Cash App mobile application. 
• If you look carefully, you will find a round watch shaped icon. This is actually an activity button. Tap it. 
• The next screen will open up showing you your past payment and transaction history. 
• Scroll down to find and select the wrong payment. 
• Further, tap the three dots icon available at the top right corner of the screen. 
• Now finally select the refund button to send a request to the person whom you sent money mistakenly. 
• Now it depends upon the person on the other side whether he/she likes to send your money or not.
